The PLM Green Global Alliance invites members and followers to join us for a moderated panel discussion on the new book “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need” by Bill Gates.
And we add that is especially so for professionals who use, develop, support, market, write about, or follow Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) enabling technologies and thus who can make a difference with their everyday work.
International PLM Green members and guest panelists Jos Voskuil, Klaus Brettschneider, Lionel Grealou and Richard McFall are reading this timely book now, as we encourage others to do. In a small group forum they will share their comments and perspectives of how they see PLM-enabling strategies, technologies and software contributing to the solutions Mr. Gates proposes are needed. There will be time to consider questions and comments from attendees who have also read the book, or those who did not have time to but wish to learn from others who did.
Learn more about the topics covered in “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster” as well as a preview to some of the innovations that will be required to decarbonize the economy in this recent TED Talk HERE.
The discussion will be held on Thursday, May 13, at 3 pm Central European afternoon refreshment time and 9 am US Eastern morning coffee time.
